Level 3 Professional Cookery

On this course you will gain enhanced catering skills by learning more advanced preparation and cooking methods such as water bath cooking and thermo mix, which will allow you to present more complex dishes. You will also develop supervisory skills and take part in a work experience placement at a local establishment, with opportunities to work alongside highly experienced chefs. You will gain valuable skills and experience, which are essential for working within the food industry.

All your work is stored, tracked and managed through Smart Assessor. You will be assessed via practical assessments in your working environment, but there will be some tests to examine your underpinning knowledge.

 

 

 

 

 

 

There will be opportunities to take part in a variety of trips and visits, which will incur a nominal fee. Uniform will need to be purchased within the first two weeks of enrolment. You will also work in the industry on a weekly basis.
