Course Overview
This course is aimed at those who are interested in Hairdressing or qualifying as a Barber.
What will I learn?
On this course you will learn how to perform a variety of services including cutting Men’s and Facial hair if the Barbering route. Or for the Hairdressing route: Colouring and Styling techniques. You will also learn to develop your communication and customer service skills when working with clients in the salon, whilst developing skills in Retailing.
How will the course be assessed?
You will be assessed through a variety of methods including on-line testing, assignments and practical assessments in a real working environment.

You will need a uniform and a salon kit. Details to be confirmed at enrolment.
Progression
Progression onto Level 2 Diploma in Women’s and Men’s Hairdressing. L3 Barbering, an Apprenticeship or Employment.
