Emily Cannon and Emily Boocock - off to Oxford!

Two talented Sixth Form students from Nelson and Colne College, Emily Boocock and Emily Cannon, have continued the college’s outstanding record for academic excellence and successfully gained entry to Oxford University.
Each year, students from Nelson and Colne College Sixth Form gain entry to Oxford, Cambridge and other prestigious universities thanks to the College’s extensive specialist support programme which was developed with the needs of high achievers in mind. Talented students are recognised early and are mentored through the complex application process by staff who are highly experienced in helping students progress to these top institutions. In addition, the College offers Pre-Professional programmes, which prepare students for challenging careers including Medicine, Law, Teaching and Journalism.
Emily Boocock of Winewall will read Classics at Corpus Christi College and Emily Cannon of Barnoldswick will read History at Pembroke College.
