Course Overview
This course has been specifically designed to support volunteers, both new and experienced, to develop and gain confidence when dealing with conflict.
What will I learn?

• Recognising your own attitudes to conflict
• Understanding the reasons why people initiate conflict
• Being aware of solutions to resolve conflict
• Use real life situations to learn about conflict
There will be an opportunity to put your learning into practice via group work.
How will the course be assessed?
Through blended learning. The course is run as a zoom session but you will be given access to our Virtual Learning Environment Moodle.
Materials and other information
This course is free.
A printed LAL certificate of completion can be arranged when the college sites have reopened.
After completing this course you may be interested into progressing into an accredited qualifications such as Bitesize mentoring, Develop a Community Project, Volunteer training programme or Customer Service. We can support you to look for volunteering positions or guide you into how to share your volunteering experience on your CV.
