These programmes run for 10 weeks and cover a range of creative techniques. You can book the full 10 week programme for £120 or book individual disciplines which run for 2 weeks each for £30. These programmes are aimed at beginners or more experienced artists.

Introduction into Gents Shaving Services and Creating Patterns in Hair
These 1 day programmes are designed for qualified or experienced Hair Stylists who wish to progress onto a Barbering qualification but have little or no experience of cutting men’s hair. This course provides an excellent introduction to the Level 3 Barbering Qualification.

Deborah enrolled onto Nelson and Colne College's Foundation Degree in Teaching and Learning Support.
She said that she has enjoyed all aspects of the course, but particularly the Teaching and Supporting Creative Subjects, which she describes as an enlightening subject. Deborah also said it is a very sociable subject and that she has learnt a lot from her peers' experiences.
On completion of the Foundation Degree, Deborah will complete a one year 'top-up' course at the University of Cumbria, where she will hopefully gain a BEd Hons with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Deborah said, "I have achieved because the tutors recognised my potential and encouraged me to follow my dreams. It's thanks to them and Nelson and Colne College that I am almost there! Let the College support you in your dreams!"
