At Nelson and Colne College Sixth Form YOU are the most important person! From the moment you join the College to the day you get your qualifications, you will find help, advice and guidance on a range of issues at our Student Services Department.

We offer impartial information, advice and guidance on a full range of services, including:

  • Moving on to university or into work
  • Preparing for interviews
  • Financial help – including grants and benefits
  • Transport arrangements
  • Personal counselling
  • Health and wellbeing

Confidential appointments with specialist advisers are also available and can be arranged by telephone or in person.

Nelson and Colne College’s Student Services team is accredited to the Matrix Standard, which is the national quality standard for any organisation that delivers information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work. Accreditation by Matrix confirms Nelson and Colne College as an outstanding organisation, dedicated to providing essential advice and expert guidance to its students and the local community.
