Application Form

Applying for a place at Nelson & Colne College couldn’t be easier. If you would like a copy of our full-time sixth-form prospectus, please contact the Information Officer .

Step 1
Complete an application form (Download a copy of the application form). Alternatively, phone 01282 440200 to request a copy.

Step 3
You and your parents (if appropriate) will be invited for an interview. You will usually be interviewed alone. It is an informal process and is your chance to ask questions about your chosen subject(s) as well as helping staff to match you with the right programme.
Step 4
Following a successful interview, you will be offered a place at College which may be conditional on exam results. This place will be held for you until your course starts. Once exam results are published, we will ask you to confirm your enrolment by attending College at a set time with your results. Don’t worry if these are not what you expected – staff will be on hand to give advice and suggest alternatives.
