Students from Accrington and Rossendale College recently joined Nelson and Colne College Sixth Form to participate in tutor group representative training, courtesy of Blue Circle Training.
Students from Accrington and Rossendale College recently joined Nelson and Colne College Sixth Form students at the Scotland Road campus to take part in tutor group representative training.
The training session was led by Jason Tattersall from Blue Circle Training. He said, “The training is to prepare students to better represent their forms and the student voice.”
The event saw tutor group representatives from each form in both Nelson and Colne College Sixth Form and Accrington and Rossendale College viewing a presentation and working together to complete tasks related to successful tutor group representation.
Nelson and Colne College Sixth Form is proud to promote student development in all areas, whether it be personal or academic. Developing leadership qualities is vitally important for success, and these students have taken the first step toward becoming great leaders and representatives of the student voice.
