The College’s Hairdressing students are rewarded for excellent attendance by testing their ability to stay cool when high in the sky!

Twenty five full time Hairdressing students were rewarded recently for consistently strong attendance from March until April with a trip to Urban Altitude, the newest member of the Pendle Leisure Trust family, an outdoor aerial assault course.

It is the first of its kind to be built in the UK in an urban town centre location, and measures a massive 42ft! It features a 60m zip-wire, a leap of faith, a power fan free-fall, a Jacobs ladder, a climbing wall and high and low rope courses.

The students were joined by staff members, including College Principal Amanda Melton. The group spent three hours celebrating their high attendance and returned to College eager to do just as well in the future!
