|Entry Requirements:||4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above including Mathematics or English at grade 4. For the one year course students will need GCSEs at grade 4 as well as Mathematics and English as a minimum.|

This course is part of the NCC Ambitions Programme – a unique programme for Level 2 students, which will support you in developing key personal skills such as communication, confidence, resilience, employability and presentation skills.
Students maybe required to complete the Level 2 Pre-Apprenticeship qualification before progressing onto this course as a requirement of the industry. This professional qualification will enable you to develop your employability skills while building your industry knowledge. The programme includes links with employers, interview opportunities, guest lectures and much more.
Completion of this course will allow you to progress onto one of our Level 3 programmes, specialising in Make-up Artistry, Beauty Therapy, an Apprenticeship or employment in the sector.

How will the course be assessed?
You will develop skills throughout the course before taking part, in an end of year practical exam and a theory exam, or through on-going practical and Theory assessments. These are externally set by City and Guilds.
Materials and other information
Students will need to purchase the salon uniform and a beauty kit. Costs will be confirmed at interview/enrolment.
