Course Overview
This course provides you with the knowledge, skills and expertise that you will require for your next steps into a digital career, whether this is employment or Higher Education. You will cover a variety of skillsets around information technology, including Project Management, Database Design and Development, Cyber Security, Social Media, Web Development, IT Technician and Programming. You will be given the opportunity to explore how organisations manage security, develop new software and administrate networks. You will learn a variety of skills including developing a broad knowledge of industry specific technical skills under the supervision of experienced tutors and with guidance from industry experts.
There will be lots of opportunities for gaining industry knowledge of job roles within the digital sector, with trips to businesses including ROQ and EKM.

How will the course be assessed?
You will be assessed via internal and external assessment. The external assessments are set and marked by the exam board. The internal assessments are marked by your tutors via a series of coursework projects and portfolio evidence.
