Course Overview

Learning or improving your English will help you in all aspects of life, including social skills, studying and getting a job. If English isn’t your first language, our ESOL courses will help you to improve your speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammar and punctuation.

We offer ESOL classes, via Lancashire Adult Learning, here at Nelson and Colne College but also at many other venues across East Lancashire including Nelson, Colne, Brierfield, Burnley, Accrington and more. Please click here for further details : www.lal.ac.uk

What will I learn?

If English is not your first language, our ESOL classes will help you to improve your English in reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Our ESOL courses are flexible to meet your individual needs, and cater for complete beginners, as well as those at advanced level.

You can study ESOL on a part-time basis. Part-time classes take place at College or in a community venue. We offer morning, afternoon and evening classes.

How will the course be assessed?

External exams at the end of the course.
