Apprenticeship summary

  • Safe operation of CNC milling machines & lathes
  • Setting up of tooling, & managing tool wear in operation
  • Setting up machines, CNC milling & lathes.
  • Monitoring of machine once in operation
  • Learning to read & edit CNC programmes
  • Learning to understand & read technical drawings & specifications
  • Use of a wide range of technical measuring equipment used in the control of quality
