What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Precision tooling manufacture
  • Refurbishment of tooling 
  • New tooling development 
  • You will become skilled in conventional milling, turning and CNC Machining

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Apprenticeship Standard (L3)
  • Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) – Product  Design and Development
  • Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
  • Toolmaker and Tool and Die Technician
  • First Year - College Block Release 
  • Second Year - Day release college attendance

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
