1. Do your research
You are certain to be asked specific questions about the company and the role, so make sure you’ve done your homework! Impress your interviewer with what you know about the company and how your skill set will benefit the company.

2. Practice your answers
You should prepare answers to some of the most common interview questions about your personal strengths and weaknesses, you should also be able to explain why you are interested in the position.

3. Look the part
Appearances shouldn’t matter, but the plain fact is that you are often judged before you’ve even uttered a word so make sure you look smart and always remember to shine those shoes!

4. Stay calm
Good preparation is the key to staying in control. Remember to speak clearly, smile and remember that your interviewers are just normal people, and are more than likely to be nervous too!

5. Ask questions
Think about asking how the culture is within the work place, how many people are in the team or perhaps where the company sees itself in five years time.
