The role will include raising invoices and work instructions, processing; dealing with customers, along with other general administrative duties. You will have a good level of keyboard skills, including a knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access; literacy and numeracy skills, and the ability to work on own initiative. Apprentices normally attend work 4 days per week and college one day. During the apprenticeship the successful candidate will work towards an NVQ Level 2 but will be supported to achieve level 3 if possible. The apprentice will be employed for a minimum of 2 years, though this may be extended into a third year allowing level 3 qualifications to be achieved.
