This is a fantastic opportunity for candidate with a real desire to develop a career in finance and accounts to join a world leading company as a Finance Apprentice.
To encompass the Finance Administrator role. This position will report directly to the Assistant Financial Controller. The purpose of the role is to support the Finance Team in the delivery of their objectives. You will work towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Accountancy where on and off-the-job training and professional development will be completed in the workplace, as well as attendance at College to complete the AAT Level 3 qualification delivered by Nelson and Colne College. Primary responsibilities include: Assisting with expenses processing and payment, Month-end file set up /filing/archiving, Month-end journal posting, Credit card journal creation, Assist with daily cash reconciliations, Manual payment processing, Balance sheet reconciliations for accruals & prepayments, Assist in 5S responsibilities, Writing up Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS), GRIR cleansing, Shared Service liaison, Stationery ordering for the department, Rotation within the department encompassing the Programme section (Revenue/Cost of sales reporting) and the Industrial section (Cost of production/variance analysis), Other ad hoc duties, as required.
