Important update – A message to our A Level leavers from Assistant Principal Fionnuala Swann around Centre Assessed Grades.
“The latest government announcement has confirmed that the A Level grades you will receive will be the Centre Assessed Grades that were submitted to awarding bodies by schools and colleges – where higher than the calculated grade you received last week.
“We are awaiting further information from OFQUAL and the exam boards on how this will happen. As soon as we have this, the college will update you. We understand how stressful the last few days have been and wanted to reassure you that we will continue to do all we can to support you. We will send you, by email, your Centre Assessed Grades as soon as possible.
“If you have any concerns about your university place, keep an eye on UCAS track as the universities are in the process of deciding how to respond to the new government decision. UCAS will also be emailing all applicants in the next few days.
