At College, there is a lot more emphasis than at school on independent study, and our facilities give you the space, flexibility and equipment you need to continue your learning outside of the classroom.
Our Learning Resource Centre offers modern and flexible spaces for you to study in. There is a wide range of resources available including books, magazines and e-resources, bookable computers, study tables for group work and a silent study zone to promote both shared and individual learning. Competitively priced stationery can also be purchased from the LRC shop.
The friendly and approachable staff are ready to assist you with all types of enquiries, such as how to access the resources available, help finding material for your assignments and even 1-2-1 help with referencing and other academic skills needed for you to successfully complete your studies.
There are a wide range of study spaces available to you throughout the College. Our drop-in areas are designed to allow a flexible approach to working, with access to PCs and WIFI. There are both group and individual study spaces available, from private study pods to flexible group work tables. Our staffed Study Zone also offers a dedicated space where students can receive guidance and support with completing their work.
