Sustainability Officer – Are you keen to make the college eco-friendlier and more sustainable? This may be for you! Part of the role will include sitting on the College Sustainability group and organising cross-college events and campaigns relating to sustainability.
Marketing & E-Learning Officer – Are you passionate about technology and social media? This may be for you! Part of the role will include ensuring effective marketing of Student Hub events and promoting technology for use with staff and students. The role may also require you to create digital marketing materials and be involved in adding to the college social media.
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Officer – Are you wanting to create an equal and inclusive Nelson and Colne College that celebrates diversity? This may be for you! Part of the role will include representing the views of LGBTQ+, ethnic/religious minority students to the Hub and the college. It also includes sitting on the College Equality and Diversity Group.
Charity & Fundraising Officer – Are you an experienced fundraiser wanting to raise money for local charities? This may be for you! Part of the role will include organising cross-college fundraising events for charities and developing networks with local charities in the area.
Health & Wellbeing Officer – Are you passionate about improving mental and physical wellbeing? This may be for you! Part of the role will include organising relevant Health and Wellbeing campaigns/events and working closely with Safeguarding to address student health and wellbeing issues.
Student Experience Officer – Do you want to make the college a lively, dynamic place to be? This may be for you! Part of the role will include working with the Extra-Curricular team to help organise social events and additional clubs/societies that are relevant and attractive to students.
