There are many reasons to choose Nelson and Colne College University Centre, including:
History of outstanding quality
NCC’s University Centre builds on the College’s already existing reputation for exceptional teaching, learning and career support. Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, NCC is regularly named among the top colleges in the country in the latest Government data.
Flexible study options
Full and part-time delivery options are available for our higher level qualifications, with evening courses running subject to demand. This
means learners are often able to maintain work and personal commitments, while completing their qualification. Remote learning may also be an option.
NCC is committed to making strong links with the local community and employers from a range of sectors. Through employer engagement, our qualifications remain career-focused and learners are kept up-to-date with the most relevant and current industry skills.
Learners at NCC can gain a higher level qualification locally and without the expense of University. Those doing a HNC/D qualification, for example, can expect to save over £9,000 based upon average University fees over a three-year degree level programme. Loans are also available.
Just like at University, upon completing their qualification, NCC learners, along with local employers, will be invited to a prestigious graduation ceremony to celebrate their achievements!
All our higher level qualifications are professional, industry-recognised qualifications, designed to help learners with their career development and to help them in meeting their aspirations.
