|Entry Requirements:||4 GCSEs at grade 3/D or above including either Maths or English and Double Award Science.|

If you are interested in working in the science or health related industry, this is an ideal vocational route. Topics of study may include principles of applied science, chemistry and our earth, energy and our universe, scientific skills and many more.
What will I learn?

• Applications of physical science

How will the course be assessed?
Two of the units are assessed by written exams. All other units are assessed by written assignments. They are graded Pass, Merit or Distinction. For every assignment you will receive an assignment brief which will clearly outline what you have to do for the assessment and how you can achieve your grades.
At the end of the year you will gain a Level 2 with two grades; e.g. Distinction, Distinction. You need to gain at least M,M and a L2/GCSE Maths and English to progress onto the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science.
