HNC Sustainable Construction

This is a programme leading to Higher National Certificates (university first year equivalent) awarded by Liverpool John Moores University with the following titles.

HNC Sustainable Construction Management

All pathways provide a broad-based grounding in professional construction with an emphasis on the demands of the sustainability agenda. The Design pathways has a focus on the skills needed to design construction projects, the Management stream on those needed to manage construction activities, and the Sustainable Construction pathway allows students to mix and match modules from both of the other pathways to suit their own preferences or employment needs.

All awards are available through full- or part-time study and timetables are designed to minimise the number of times that a student would need to travel to College.

It is not necessary to select your pathway at the time of application, this can be selected later in discussions with the programme team.

The full-time fee for this programme is £7725. Part-time fees are charged in proportion to the volume of study undertaken, if this programme is taken over two years the fee would be £4120 per year.

There are no formal examinations on this programme. Assessment is by a mixture of written assignments, practical work, presentations and online tests.
